Also notice that for R1 沿途走位及頭馬距離, for 第 3 段, the margins shown were lengths behind the horse in front rather than 頭馬距離. For example, the margin shown for 金百利 is 2-1/4. 金百利 was 2-1/4 L behind the horse in front, i.e. 2nd placed 神勇將軍 but was 3-3/4 L behind 頭馬揀得準.
I thought the JC had decided to change the format but margins for the other races are correct.

These are obvious errors that I didn't notice. The main reason is I don't copy the column of overall margins. 
Btw, I found the press and other media started to adopt hkjc's 沿途走位. In the past, those figures were ridiculous.

Hardly surprising that 沿途走位 in the past was less than accurate because the info was compiled in a great rush to meet press deadlines and most probably relied on someone's subjective judgment.

According to an internal staff of hkheadline racing, those 沿途走位 were jotted instantly and manually while the races were in progress. I consider that skills a kind of 奇技！ ^_^

I think most of the errors are typos which are attributable to the manual data entry process. For the case of 馬風雲, it should be
28.6 24.1 25.2 43.1 14.1.0
28.6 24.1 25.2 23.1 1.41.0
Not sure if the counting of time frames and margins at sectional posts from the video clip is also a manual process.
